It\u2019s a new year! Time to commit to changes, to new habits and set new goals. Look at Your Financial Plan<\/b><\/p>\n

Do you already have one? Update it. If you don\u2019t have one, now is the time to\u00a0make one. It should include the areas of\u00a0investments, income, tax, health care\u00a0and estate.<\/p>\n

Review Your Credit Report<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/b>In light of all the security breaches as of late, it\u2019s a good idea to just check things out. Pay particular attention for signs of identity theft and fraud.<\/p>\n

Start an emergency fund<\/b><\/p>\n

No one can predict the future.\u00a0You can plan as much as possible to protect yourself, but a stash of liquid resources might just prove invaluable. It\u2019s one great way to protect yourself.<\/p>\n

Max out your contributions<\/b><\/p>\n

Take advantage of every cent you can squeeze out of your 401k matching. You will be able to contribute a max savings of $18,000 to your 401k. If your company matches that\u2026gravy\u2026and who doesn\u2019t like gravy?<\/p>\n

Rebalance your portfolio<\/b><\/p>\n
